Our professional event coordinator, Danyelle, coordinates all weddings at the estate. With a solid educational background in event management and lots of experience, she collaborates on your day starting six months before the wedding date.

Danyelle has been with us since 2021 and has coordinated over a hundred weddings. She’s proven to be a wedding rockstar with a kind and caring personality; she’s detailed and calm while doing a meticulous job.

Casper de Boer


Casper is the founder, co-owner, and executive director at Roxbury Barn & Estate, and a pioneer in the Upstate wedding world. He and his husband started the business in 2012, and Casper will be hosting his three-hundredth event at the estate this upcoming summer.

He loves the hands-on aspects of creating events, finessing the property, and producing a full-service experience. Still, he’s most proud of the team of highly talented pros he’s put together over the years.

Our planning tools, all our help along the way, and our full wedding coordination service are an integral part of our operation. Our professional event coordinator and our executive director coordinate and lead all weddings at the estate.

It all starts right after you book our place:

Getting the Ball rolling

Right from the start, our executive, Casper de Boer, helps you by mapping out the road ahead and providing all the practical information and planning tools you’ll need. He’ll set up a fully personalized online planning platform where we will share and develop the plans for your day.

Collaborative timeline development

As we get to know you as a couple, we’ll work together on a detailed wedding timeline that involves all aspects and addresses all vendor needs and requirements for the day. The timeline is updated throughout the planning process.

in-depth consultation

Six months before the wedding, our coordinator starts with an in-depth face-to-face or Zoom session with both of you. She advises you on vendors that haven’t been booked yet, helps you with any questions, and guides you through the rest of the process.

We’re here to support you throughout the entire planning journey. You can contact us anytime by email or phone with questions, ideas, or updates. We’ll provide prompt responses and guidance, ensuring your peace of mind.

An In-Depth Walk-Trough

Our coordinator hosts a solid on-site walk-through in the months before the wedding, at a day and time that fits your schedule. We’ll go through every detail of your day while revisiting every site location at our venue.

A month before the wedding, we create a thoughtfully designed floor plan for dinner based on your preferences. This includes table groups, assigned seating of guests, preferred meals, and any dietary requirements, for a flawless dinner service.

Final Vendor communications

Our coordinator handles communications with your vendors in the lead-up to your big day, shares our final timeline, and ensures everyone is on the same page.

Guided Ceremony Rehearsal

On the afternoon before the wedding, our coordinator conducts a walkthrough of your ceremony, guiding you and your wedding party through every step. We’ll also assist you with any drop-offs of personal items and outfits.

Our coordinator manages all day-of logistics, and guides you throughout your wedding, from getting you settled in at the get-ready cottage to the night’s end.

Set-Up

Our coordinator sets up all personal décor items, such as ceremony programs, seating cards, menus, favors, etc., precisely as you prefer.

Last-minute changes

Our coordinator and our service team handle all of the nitty-gritty of a busy wedding day. Rain plans, umbrellas, and a full emergency kit for any day of need — we have it covered.
