Genuine & bespoke
Founded 173 years ago by a Mississippi boat captain as a summer residence for his family, our mountain-side estate fuses heritage with feisty modern flair, combining indoor and outdoor event spaces, with solid rain plans in place.
Unlike many blank-canvas venues, we strive to offer a series of uniquely curated settings, with exceptional attention to detail.

One venue, four locations
Our 50-acre place offers a majestic pine grove for your ceremony, a hilltop pavilion with stunning mountain views for cocktail hour, a roofed dining terrace, and an 1850s-redesigned carriage barn for dancing and lounging.
Plus: a get-ready cottage, extensive gardens, spring-fed ponds, fields and woods, and a spectacular bonfire ready for s’mores.

Seasonal, sustainable food
Our chef Leah Detreville cooks with seasonal and fresh ingredients, using as many local, home-grown products as possible, and combining them with international flavors and cooking techniques.
